The beautiful monarch butterfly travels nearly 4,000 kilometers each year from Canada and the United States to reach the forests of Mexico during the fall.
In Monterrey, Monterrey residents will be able to enjoy this amazing natural phenomenon with the Monarch Butterfly Migration Festival on November 9th.
The festival will take place at Chipinque Ecological Park. This famous green area near the city will be the stage to learn about the annual migration of the monarch butterfly.
For an entire day there will be workshops, guided tours, educational activities and even talks with experts so that every visitor can learn about and participate in the protection of the environment.

To enter the event, all you have to do is purchase a general admission ticket to the park. The adult ticket costs $88, while for children ages 7 to 12, the price is $45.
