The Museum of Mexican History, the Museum of the Northeast, and the Palace Museum will update their hours and admission fees as part of an effort to strengthen their operation, conservation, and cultural offerings.
This adjustment responds to the institutional commitment to continue offering dignified, accessible spaces focused on public service, promoting education, citizen participation, and engagement with historical heritage as tools for integration and community development.

Starting in January 2026, general admission will be $60 pesos, while students and teachers with valid ID will be able to enter for $30 pesos.
A key point is that this ticket allows access to the Museum of Mexican History and the Museum of the Northeast on the same day, which makes the plan much more attractive if you want to visit both venues.
Free admission on Sundays remains in place, as does free access for children under 12, people with INAPAM cards, ICOM members, and people with disabilities, provided they have official accreditation.
In addition, the Palace Museum will remain completely free of charge, as it has been until now.

In terms of opening hours, the three museums will operate from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while on Sundays they will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., ideal for visiting them at a leisurely pace.
